Deep Wound Graphic
Ok so I was fighting some minotuar when I realized that deep wound doesnt have a graphic like all the other conditions.
Bleeding: red cloud ring
Poison: green cloud ring
Cripple: different charater animation
Blind: black "dust" over eyes
Dazed: expanding white circles
Disease: flies and green cloud
Burning: on fire
Deep Wound: nothing
Now a comback to this would probably be to say that you can't see a deep wound. Well you can't see if someone is poisoned either, or blinded, or diseased for that matter, even dazed you would have to look at the act of the person.
So I propose a graphic for deep wound, so that you can see that they are suffering from it. My suggestion for a graphic, I find, isn't very good so put input on possible graphics for deep wound but here is it anyway:
A ring of red dots, like what you see in OoB or what is in the eyes of the skull for OoV. This ring of dots will surround the characters, and they will slowly decend at different speeds and dissappear at different times.
Thoughts and critisims? Please do not just say "no" without a reason.

I completely agree, although after Eviscerate's nerf, I probably wont be inflicting too many deep wounds, sadly

Eviscerate is still an excellent skill. And Deep wound doesn't stay on a target long enough to warrant making a graphic for it, really.

So 20 seconds isn't long? Try telling me that while you try healing when being attacked by an IWAY.

I never said it doesn't have a long duration, I said it's generally not on the target very long. Deep wound is a brutal condition. On a normal character at around 500 health, it's -100 health. That's nothing to laugh at. So monks will remove it quickly. Thus, it's used in spikes, and it's either applied and the target died, or the target survives and it's removed quicksmart. Tell me, in which of those situations, are you going to notice a little effect? Although, a good effect might be huge letters across your teams monks screens saying 'SPIKE ON #*!!!'
In PvE, there's little point either, as generally very few conditions are being applied and there's so little pressure a monk can happily mend ailment/condition to his hearts content, so again, deep wound hardly stays on a target.

The only way you would see this is with a brown arrow on your health bar but mend ailment or condition can remove it right away.Bleeds and Poison are completly different as well as daze.

In GvG most conditions are removed quickly anyway, with the exception of disease. When blind is on a warrior or ranger is is removed quickly. When dazed is on a caster it is removed quickly. Now most monks use mend condition or whatever as soon as any condition is put on as it is. I don't really see a downside to this seeing as how deep wound is a much more used condition than dazed is and probably even weakness. They have graphics and they are removed quickly. So what if deep wound is removed quickly a graphic would still be nice.

You missed weakness, which has a graphic also.
I've always been curious about why Deep Wound doesn't have a graphic. Maybe they expected us to determine via process of elimination.
On the other hand, you're not given a list of enchantments or hexes on a character either - you only see that they have them. So, it wouldn't have been unreasonable to not have *any* condition graphics. I'd guess that, from a gameplay standpoint, you're not supposed to know when someone has deep wound unless they tell you.

I added weakness below Lords post.
You aren't given a list of enchants or hexes but there are graphics for all the other conditions so why is this one left out. If none of the conditions had graphics then yeah, I wouldn't be posting.
I don't know hwo to answer your last comment but it is easy to notify teammate of deep wound.

how bout half of an arm cut off and blood spraying everywhere... that would be king.
or just some drops of blood when they run around. i dont see flying limbs in the air as a good effect to be even noticed.. so, and teen rating has limits too.
hell with it, flying limbs, half arm, blood everywhere, and trails of blood all over. im for it all how else you going to show it? if your crippled, you limp. maybe one hand over the other shoulder? hmm

How else will you show poison other than a floating ring of green clouds?
How else will you show weakness other than a floating ring of white clouds?
How will you show blind other than having black particles spraying out of your eyes?
